This course will cover the installation of Emergency Responder Communication Enhancement Systems (ERCES). Topics to be covered include: Cooperation with the FCC Licensee, FCC Licensing, Local Government and the FCC Licensee, FCC Licensee and ERCES Testing, permitting and inspection, FCC Licensee and Fire officials, Commissioning and acceptance testing. In PART II we will cover: When does a building REALLY require a BDA, New Construction during the permitting stage and early construction, New Construction near completion, completed new construction and existing buildings. In the las part we will cover: Determining radio coverage, DAQ - Delivered Audio Quality, DAQ Testing Methods, RSSI, Received Signal Strength Indication and NFPA 1221 (2016) VS. NFPA 72 (2013), When the RSSI is too Hot and RSSI Testing during ERCES commissioning.
