This is an open discussion about the Hydrogen refueling construction and operations. With a specific focus on H2 safety and system features

Hydrogen Safety presentation

1.     Discuss basic equipment used for Storage, Compression and Refueling

2.     Discuss H2 safety and detection equipment

3.     Discuss compliance with NFPA 2 requirements

4.     Open session for Q&A

This course has been approved for 3 hours of Continuing Education Credit for Fire Inspectors, Fire Code Administrators, and Fire Service Instructors.

12 years active-duty Navy in Nuclear Propulsion Program/6 years submarine duty
21 years Air Force Reserves in Transportation Career Field
15 Years with Linde Gases
7 years as Regional Safey Manager
8 years in Operations of H2 and CO2
9 Years with Plug Power Serving as Program Manager for Walmart customer, responsible for construction of all H2 projects with Walmart
2 years volunteer fire fighter
