Fire Pumps and NFPA 25 - 3 hr

This class will review the associated requirements for the installation, maintenance, and repairs of fire pumps. The class will provide information on the aspects of NFPA 25 and the application to the local authority having jurisdiction.

Instructor: Richard Bloom
Richard started his career in fire protection in July of 1980 as a sprinkler fitter apprentice. He completed his apprenticeship training in 1984.
During this time, he gained experience through hands on training in industrial settings such as power plants, chemical plants, saw mills, paper mills where he worked on multiple types of special hazard systems including foam, clean agent and deluge systems. He also worked on several manufacturing, educational and health care facilities.
After completing his training, he worked his way up from sprinkler fitter to Vice President of WW Gay Fire Protection INC. where he is currently employed. Richard is also employed by Levy County DPS as a Firefighter/ EMT. He is a Fire Safety Inspector, Instructor and LFTI. Richard is a training provider and continues to share his knowledge of the industry by providing continuing education to Fire Protection Contractors, Inspectors, Fire Equipment Dealers and Permit Holders.
