(2 Contact hours approved for Fire Code Administrator and fire Safety Inspector by NEFFPA)

The course will provide an overview of the codes and regulations fire code officials face with the growing trend of medical marijuana in the state of Florida. The class is designed to assist fire officials in making decisions in the interest of public health and safety. Many jurisdictions are having new retail, production, and cultivation facilities move into the area. The goal is to provide education to assist all parties with compliance and safety for all stakeholders.
