How to Prevent Thermal Runaway in Lithium Ion Batteries - 1.5 hrs. - WEBINAR

(1.5 Contact Hours approved for Fire Code Administrator, Fire Safety Inspector and Instructor I, II, III)

Recent lithium-ion battery explosions have demonstrated how dangerous they can be. This webinar will explain the four stages of battery failure and how to prevent a thermal runaway with proper “Advanced Detection” at the appropriate stage of failure. It will also address why conventional gas detection will not prevent thermal runaway and address best design and layout practices as well as sequence of operation. Lithium Ion batteries are safe once they’re understood!
