Emergency Responder Radio Communication Enhancement Systems - 2 hr

SPACE IS VERY LIMITED

This class will cover Emergency Responder Radio Enhancement Systems/BDA/DAS.  Overview of the technology and the codes that are driving the enforcement.  We will review the Florida Statute with regards to existing buildings and how jurisdictions within Florida are enforcing BDA systems.  What it takes to be proactive when it comes to designing facilities and ensuring that you will be prepared if a BDA system is required in the building.  Utilize equipment listed for its intended purpose, we will review the UL2524 listing.

The class has been approved for four (2) hours of CEUs for Fire Code Administrator, Fire Safety Inspector I&II, Fire Service Instructor I,II and III.

Wendy Rivera has 32 years in the Fire Alarm industry with 20 of them at Honeywell. She has been in her current position with Honeywell since January 2018.  Her background includes distribution, Installation, Service, and Sales of Fire Alarm systems and low voltage systems since 1987.  Wendy is Nicet Level I and holds a degree in electronics.  She has been factory certified on BDA systems through RSI and SWIFT wireless via Honeywell Fire.
